In April, Jan Steffen will present her program "It’s Hip to be Square" as well as teach a workshop the following Saturday on her Square-in-a-Square Technique.
Jan is a certified Square in a Square instructor. Her workshop will teach us this new technique for rotary cutting and strip piecing that allows quilters to achieve perfect points with improved accuracy, simplicity of construction, and speed.
The resulting blocks go together with great ease and lie very flat. Sound too good to be true? Well, attend this lecture and workshop and you will find out that it’s very TRUE! The technique encompasses 38 different “Options.” Using these options, you can make half-square triangles four at a time and flying geese blocks two at a time!
